Helping You Stay Close By During Cancer Treatment

Do you live outside of Kitchener-Waterloo? It may be easier for you to stay near the cancer centre while you are getting treatment. This can help reduce how much time you spend driving back and forth.

Patients who are having systemic therapy and/or radiation treatment can benefit from local lodging at no extra cost. The Waterloo Regional Health Network Foundation raises money so that they can pay for your stay at a hotel while you go through treatment.

To qualify:

  • You must live 90km (or further) away from WRHN
  • Be a patient of WRHN Cancer Centre
  • You must be actively having treatment (radiation or systemic therapy)

Aren’t sure if you qualify?

Contact the Lodging Team for more information by calling 226-750-1567 or by emailing us.
