| CAPSULE ENDOSCOPY | Capsule endoscopy helps to explore unexplained blood loss and other unexplained GI symptoms in a hard-to-reach area. | ENDOSCOPIC ULTRASOUND (EUS) Waterloo Wellington Regional EUS Program | EUS is a safe, effective tool for both the diagnosis and treatment of malignant and benign hepatobiliary and GI conditions. It enhances cancer detection, staging, and management, and is considered a standard of care in many GI malignancies. EUS offers superior tumor staging compared to CT, MRI, and transabdominal ultrasound, and is especially valuable in evaluating pancreatic cancer, intraductal adenoma extension, and staging of gastric, esophageal, rectal, ampullary, and cholangiocarcinomas, as well as lung cancer. | Cambridge Memorial Hospital | In Ocean under: Cambridge Memorial - Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) |
