How to Sign-Up For Rides to Cancer Appointments

Wheels of Hope (WoH) is a volunteer driver service run by the Canadian Cancer Society. They book volunteer drivers to pick you up and drop you off at cancer appointments. This can be for:

  • Oncologist (cancer doctor) appointments
  • Medical Imaging appointments (like an X-ray or CT scan)
  • Cancer Treatments

Signing-Up:

  • Talk to your healthcare team; they will send a referral for you.
  • Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) agent will call you within 1-2 business days.
  • Each rider must pay a $100 registration fee to sign up. This will cover 1 year of rides no matter how many you need. Ask your CCS agent about support options if you are not able to pay this fee.

Booking Your Ride:

  1. Call the Canadian Cancer Society at 1-888-939-3333
  2. Book your ride at least 3 business days ahead.
  3. Ask the CCS agent about online booking options.

Changing Your Ride:

To cancel or change rides you must call the CCS. They plan all ride bookings.
