The focus of supportive care is to help you manage the cancer experience.

This includes any of your concerns with:

  • Mental health
  • Religious or spiritual support
  • Quality of life

You may also see this group of healthcare workers called the psychosocial oncology (PSO) team. The following pages have information about the support these healthcare workers can offer you at WRHN Cancer Centre.

How do you get access to Supportive Care team members?

Ask your oncology doctor or nurse for a referral if you think any of these services are right for you.
